My walk to the River....

One fine morning, I walked on the road to the river,
With my new sweater still on and my body shiver.

On my way I heard the birds chirping,
The leaves fluttering,
The sounds of the footsteps on the dry leaves breaking,
I felt like the nature's concert in playing...

As the wind blew,I could feel the cold,
The trees near by were rock and old.
I started to feel the heat of sunlight glittering between the leaves,
It seemed the sun had just left his home from behind the hills.

Reached the river which looked calm and cold,
The sun was painting the nature with the bright colors which took hold.
I could see the golden light,
Filling in, at my every sight.
Now the water looked like a silver bed spread,
Under which mother earth was lying to rest.

On the river bank, i saw the yellow flowers,
They looked like dancing in the sunlight for hours.
They had a glow with a smile on their face,
And stretched all through, which my eyes couldn't race.

I sat at on a stone very near,
I was still staring at the beauty the nature bear.
I could not have had a more beautiful day in my life,
I would ever remember my walk to this river site..

Ah!, this was so refreshing..Perhaps,I must say that i has a wide spectral hue of a "bliss in eternal solitude" kind of a theme..
I'm sure that it would have made a Wordsworth proud!
Nice take, more so, by your very well knitted metaphors, your imagery and they way you've put it all across through mere drops of inkings..
Fab!, and keep them coming is all that i can say!
